Soundviews

Soundviews is a student publication that covers news on student activities as well as issues of general interest. The entire student body is encouraged to write articles for Soundviews. Student reporters cover all aspects of life at WHHS. They interview guest speakers for feature articles and report on school sports and co-curricular activities. Photos and original drawings are incorporated into the newspaper as is a calendar of events.

Hakesher

HaKesher is the Hebrew language newsletter written and produced by WHHS students. Articles cover a wide range of topics including school activities and sports, current events and editorials. HaKesher focuses on current events in Israel, as well as Israeli culture.

Syzygy

Syzygy, the annual literary magazine publishes the literary works of WHHS students. Students choose a specific genre and topic and create outstanding creative writing pieces including poems and short stories. Student illustrations, drawings and photos are featured as well.

Israel Newsletter

The WHHS Israel Newsletter focuses on the land and people of Israel. Its purpose is to provide students with insight into the Israeli political, educational and cultural scenes. Two special features of the Israel Newsletter are a column on unique tourist sites throughout the country as well as updates on WHHS alumni who are studying in Israel.

French and Spanish Newsletter

Students and faculty advisors collaborate to produce this newsletter. Articles on a variety of subjects including current events, creative writing and school events are included in this newsletter. Students in French & Spanish language classes are encouraged to contribute to the newsletter.

Weekly Parasha Brief

This is a weekly publication that includes Divrei Torah on the weekly Parasha or upcoming holidays. Students and faculty members study the Parasha, use both traditional and internet resources to prepare weekly Divrei Torah.

Website

Students will be responsible for updating the WHHS website with sports scheduling information as well as information on special student activities. They will work on website projects under the supervision of our computer instructor.

Yearbook

Each year the senior class works tirelessly to produce an annual which represents the uniqueness of the class. Student photographs, writings and features create a permanent memory of a student’s four years at WHHS.
