Jim Connolly has been a fixture in the WHHS Math Department for over 20 years. Before his arrival here, he taught at Westchester Day School, Hempstead Middle School, and the Resurrection Schools in Rye, NY. In addition to teaching all grades, Mr. Connolly works in conjunction with the Learning Center to provide support to students who need extra help. He says that “critical thinking and analytical skills are not only important for math but are important for life!” With that in mind, he works to instill these skills in his students every day. An accomplished musician, Mr. Connolly spends his free time tickling the ivories, studying yoga, and hiking/skiing in the Catskill mountains.
