While this is Ms. Kipperman's third year at WHHS as the resident Spanish teacher, she is not new to speaking Spanish. With a BA in Spanish and Business, and a Masters in Latin American and Caribbean Studies and International Development, she has been practicing and developing her language skills for almost 20 years. As a serial exchange student, Ms. Kipperman spent many years living abroad in countries including Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil and Chile. With a passion for learning language and travel, she has backpacked most of Latin America as well as parts of Europe, East Asia and Africa. She has 10 years of experience in international education and is now bringing up her two children with her husband who is from the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Ms. Kipperman is excited to bring her enthusiasm for the Spanish language and Hispanic culture to her classes and is eager to motivate her students to strive hard to reach their Spanish language goals.
