Westchester Hebrew High School is the only Modern Orthodox, co-educational high school in Westchester County: a vibrant, diverse learning community serving students of all religious backgrounds from across the tri-state area. Our small size and intentionally low student-teacher ratios allow us to provide a uniquely personal educational experience. Three tracks in every Judaic and General Studies course, with the freedom to move up a level the moment you're ready, in any subject, any time of year. Small classes mean a teacher always knows where you are and where you're headed.
A culture of kindness
Chessed and middot aren't electives here. They're woven through the day. From welcoming Yachad members to preparing care packages for IDF lone soldiers, from reading to preschoolers to visiting seniors in a local nursing home, students learn that being known also means looking after one another.

Our admissions process is thorough but personal. For the upcoming admissions cycle, here is what to prepare. We'll be alongside you at each step.
Submit your application
Complete the online application with a $125 application fee and a recent photo.
Send your records
Provide or have your child's middle school provide report cards for the past 3 academic years so we can understand your full academic story.
Teacher recommendation
One recommendation from a current teacher who knows your child's work.
Take the JSAT entrance exam
The JSAT Level 8 exam, administered through COJDS.
Visit & interview
Between December and February, spend a half day with us on campus: observe classes, meet students and faculty and share lunch with us.
Every applicant has a personal meeting with the Head of School and the Director of Admissions. We take the time to know and appreciate what makes each applicant unique.
After you apply
Transfer students are welcome throughout the year, on a rolling basis. Send a completed application, academic records from 6th grade through your current grade, and a teacher recommendation; we’ll then schedule an interview for the student and a meeting with parents.

Door-to-door busing from six regions
Distance shouldn't decide a school. WHHS runs busing across the tri-state area, with a Metro-North connection to the Mamaroneck station for points beyond.
