Beer, Rabbi Jeffrey

Head of School

Rabbi Jeffrey Beer leads the administrative team at WHHS and has been Head of School since 2007. He joined the teaching staff of WHHS in September 1998 as a Judaic Studies teacher and grade mentor. Over the years he also served as athletic director and dean. In addition to serving as Head of School, Rabbi Beer teachers senior seminars in Jewish Law, the Holocaust and Zionism. Prior to joining WHHS, Rabbi Beer taught at MTA, Yeshiva University High School for Boys, served on the Rabbinic staff at the Hebrew Institute of White Plains and was the rabbi of the Union Israelita de Peru in Lima, Peru.

Rabbi Beer obtained his B.A. and M.A. in Education and Administration, as well as his Smicha from Yeshiva University.

Rabbi Beer enjoys having the opportunity to connect with students, in and out of the classroom, cherishes the rapport that he establishes with them while they are at WHHS and particularly enjoys staying in touch with students as they head off to Israel, college and beyond.
