Kurihara, Mr. Kazuya

Mathematics

Kazuya Kurihara joined the WHHS family in 2018 in the Math Department. Earning a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and a Master's in Secondary Education for Math, he aims to "be the change he wants to see in the world" by becoming the teacher he always wanted as a student. He admires the beauty of mathematics and its prevalence in the world and hopes that students will come to share his view, or at the very least, be less afraid of math and more confident in their skills. He believes in his students' abilities and that math isn't as hard as they make it out to be. He looks forward to another great year with the Wild Cats!
