Razinovsky, Ms. Ronit

Hebrew Language

Ronit Razinovsky, the Hebrew Curriculum Coordinator, joined the Westchester Hebrew High School family in 2013. Ronit was born and raised in Israel, where she served in the IDF teaching soldiers from underprivileged families. Through this profound experience, she was inspired to pursue a career in education. Soon after, Ronit and her family moved to the States where she continued working in Jewish communities as an educator and school director. Ronit worked at a Solomon Schechter School of Westchester as well as Shaarei Tikvah Synagogue. She currently serves as the Educational Director of the religious school at the JCC of Harrison. She has developed units in Hebrew with the UBD approach, using technology to enhance her lessons by creating a multi-sensory approach in her differentiated classroom. A believer in life-long learning, Ronit received a Masters in Jewish Education from the William Davidson School at JTS and recently began studying towards an Executive EdD in Jewish Educational Leadership and Innovation at YU's Azrieli School. Ronit trained with the Jewish New Teacher Project (JNTP) and is certified to mentor new teachers. Additionally, she was a member of the WHHS team that participated in the Jewish Education Project’s Day School Collaboration Network (DSCN). Ronit is a vibrant, creative, passionate Jewish educator who enjoys sharing her love for the Hebrew language and Israel with her students.
